A single blend to give voice to the different realities of South Tyrol: this white wine from the Alois Lageder Winery combines 14 grape varieties, both white and red and with different ripening levels. The intertwining of different elements thus creates an intriguing complexity that takes up the company's motto "Diversity is the key". The vineyards involved in the genesis of this South Tyrolean wine are located in different locations: the grapes come from soils with altitudes ranging from 210 m above sea level up to 740 m above sea level. If the origins of the vineyards are mixed, so are the soil types: in fact, volcanic rock soils alternate with calcareous soils. As for winemaking, following the harvest we proceed with fermentation and maturation in steel, with partial malolactic.
Characteristics of this South Tyrolean wine
It has a light yellow color with slightly more visible reflections. The olfactory bouquet is discreet but accentuated, with fruity hints of apple, pear, and citrus. On the palate it is medium-bodied, balanced and fruity, fresh.
Recommended pairings with this Mixed Sea from the Alois Lageder Winery
Excellent in combination with aperitifs based on cold cuts and cheeses, vegetarian dishes but above all fish and sushi. Serve at 8-10°C.
