The origin of this wine is linked to the long research, which lasted more than 20 years, that the company's winemakers have dedicated to ensure the best soil and climatic conditions for the breeding of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards of Baglio Sorìa, located at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level, thanks to the proximity to the Trapani coast and the peculiarities of the territory, help to define the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the two vines. The red marls of the soils, during the warmer months, allow the soil to remain compact and not create cracks, maintaining constant humidity in the subsoil, favoring the balance between sugar and phenolic maturation which is more difficult in hot climates. Aging for 12 months in French oak barriques connotes it for its incomparable aromatic and elegance. The classification for this wine is that of the DOC Sicily, one of the most valuable. The vines used in the blend are those of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vines arise in a hilly geographical area, and the soil is characterized by the presence of clay and limestone mixed with red marl.

An intense ruby colour. The nose recalls  raspberries, blueberries and wild strawberries, combined with delicate notes of cinnamon, cherries and eucalyptus, granting the bouquet fullness and complexity of aromas. It pleases the nose with enchanting herbaceous veins with hints of cocoa and mint. On the palate the taste is soft and seductive, which overwhelms with its juicy and opulent fruit. It gives the mouth freshness in taste and richness in memory thanks to refined tannins. A wine vibrant with pleasure and intense in its dynamism. Perfect when paired with structured dishes that enhance its pleasure. Excellent with rabbit saddle stuffed with dried fruit and breadcrumbs. It should be served at 18 ° C in a large glass.
