Described as ‘impeccably balanced’ by Wine Enthusiast, this prestigious red wine from Piedmont is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes: the south-facing vineyards, at an altitude of 325-360 metres above sea level, were planted in 2011; The grapes are harvested manually during the month of October, followed by soft pressing and fermentation in contact with the skins for 25 days, according to traditional red wine-making methods. The wine is aged in oak from the Fontainbleau forest for about 12 months.

It has an intense and penetrating ruby red colour. The bouquet is reminiscent of dog rose, blackberry, wild strawberries and spices. On the palate, it is smooth with a delicate tannic texture.

Excellent with particularly elaborate and structured dishes: stuffed guinea fowl, snails in spicy sauce, roasts and stews. Serve at a temperature of 16-17°C.
