From the vinification of 100% pure Merlot. The origin is the classic Denominazione di Origine Controllata of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Vinification started after manual harvesting of the grapes and separation of the stalks, vinification is carried out in the traditional manner by cap raising, with maceration on the skins for about 8-10 days. The wine then matures for a period of one year in cement tanks, precisely to preserve the fragrance of the grape aromas.
Characteristics of this red wine from the Primosic Winery
Its appearance is an intense ruby red colour. The nose expresses a full, fragrant bouquet, with a faint scent of roses and fruity aromas. The palate is characterised by the typical herbaceous scent, which with ageing tends to give way to fruit; it is soft, enveloping, pleasant, with velvety tannins and balanced acidity.
