Chardonnay "Festival" DOC CANTINA DI MERANO MERAN

From the vinification of 100% pure Chardonnay grapes. The origin falls in the area around the city of Merano, where the important company that takes the name of the territory operates. For the vinification we proceed with cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in small stainless steel tanks. Partial malolactic fermentation. Finally the maturation on the lees for 5 months.

Chardonnay Festival DOC’s features

A straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, the scent has a rich bouquet recalling the scent of exotic fruits such as banana, pineapple and ripe apples. The taste is absolutely harmonious, fresh and soft on the palate with a persistent aftertaste.

Suggested food pairings while tasting Chardonnay Festival  Doc

Excellent with all types of fish, seafood, white meat, risotto and Käsenocken, bread and Gnocchi cheese . The optimal serving temperature is 10°C.
