This Sauvignon from Vigne di Zamò’s Winery is a fresh Friulian interpretation, which well expresses the characteristics of the grape. The grapes used for the production of this wine are 100% Sauvignon. After the harvest at the end of August, the grapes are de-stemmed and subsequently macerated in steel tanks for one night. Then the nitrogen pressing takes place with alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Before being bottled, this wine remains on the lees for a period of 8 months.
Sauvignon Doc features
Upon organoleptic examination, this Friulian white wine shows a light and bright straw yellow colour. The nose is intense and elegant, with aromas of white flowers, vegetal notes and fruity aromas. The sip is satisfying, long and harmonious, with a finish characterized by a vibrant freshness.
