Weinbeschreibung
Toscana Rosso Il Chiuso by Castello di Ama is produced with the vineyards located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. It is composed by Pinot Noir grapes, harvested manually. The fermentation is managed in steel containers at controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks. The aging in barriques lasts 6 months, followed by a further evolution in the bottle.
Features of “Il Chiuso Toscana”
The organoleptic analysis shows a deep red colour. The scent recalls particular features of the two vine varieties like strawberry, cherry and blueberry. The taste is fresh, harmonious and complex.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this wine produced by Castello di Ama
Perfect with red meats, game, main courses and aged cheese. It has to be served in a balloon wine glass at a temperature that swings between 18-20°C.
