The Franciacorta Saten Cesonato of the Villa Crespia winery is made from pure Chardonnay grapes, grown in the company vineyards owned by the Muratori family: here the grapes are grown in full respect of nature and in the wake of sustainability, in an organic regime. After the manual harvest, we proceed with white vinification and alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature. The maturation requires a stay in steel tanks on the yeasts for a duration of 5 months and in oak wood for another 6/7 months. The refinement instead takes place in the bottle for a minimum period of 18 months.
Characteristics of this Franciacorta Satèn
Upon organoleptic examination it presents a straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reaches olfactory notes of ripe fruit and flowers, in particular broom and lime tree. On the palate it is creamy and with a slight hint of acidity.
Recommended pairings with this Satèn
To be tried in particular with raw fish, oysters and shellfish; excellent for a summer aperitif with friends. Serve at a temperature of 6-8°C in a tapered glass.
