Magnum 1,5 Liters Verdicchio "PODIUM" Castelli di Jesi DOC in Box Garofoli

This Magnum 1,5 liters wine bottle is accompanied by its own Box, that makes it perfect for a present.

The Verdicchio DOC of the Jesi castles is a dry white wine with particular characteristics. Its original area is located in the Jesi castle hills in the area called “Classic”. The soil is rich of clay alternated to sandy zones which give minerals to the grapes. The white wine Podium di Garofoli is made by 100% Verdicchio grapes. It is characterized by a great structure, it is elegant, rich of smells and very enduring. These characteristics come from a low profit per hectare, from the late picking and from the aging in steel tanks for one year before the bottling. There are two selecting moments, in the vineyard and in the cellar then there is a soft pressing of the entire bunches, the cold cleaning of the must and finally the low temperature fermentation. The aging period lasts 15 months in stainless steel tanks at 10°C on the mobile peels and there are 4 months of bottle maturation in a thermos conditioned room.

It has a straw yellow color with intense, elegant and fruity aromas characterized by citron hints. The aroma is seducing, soft, with a great character and a long sapid taste very warm and elegant.

The Verdicchio Podium DOC of the Castelli di Jesi is a white wine perfect for fish and white meat flavored with aromatic herbs and spicy. It has to be served at 12°C in a high and wide wine glass.
