Wine description
This Lugana from Cecilia Beretta Winery is made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana grapes from the Ca' Nova vineyard. The vineyards benefit from clayey, calcareous soils that are particularly rich in mineral salts. After the grapes are harvested by hand, they undergo white vinification. Both the vinification and ageing phases take place in steel.
Characteristics of this Lugana
It has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections: the bouquet revolves around flowers such as hawthorn and jasmine and white fruit, primarily peach and plum. It has good minerality on the palate.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Veneto
Particularly suitable with fish dishes, especially fried or steamed. Also excellent with white meats and cold cuts. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
