Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG LA TOLEDANA

Gavi della Cantina La Toledana is made from 100% Cortese grapes, grown in the vineyards of Gavi, province of Alessandria. The harvest takes place during the month of October and the bunches are gently pressed in order to extract the must; the must obtained is then fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for a duration of about two weeks. Before bottling, the wine ages for at least 6 months in steel tanks.

Characteristics of this Gavi del Comune di Gavi 

On organoleptic examination this wine has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet opens with delicate floral scents of hawthorn and orange blossom, citrus aromas of white fruit, apple, peach and fresh almond. The palate is smooth and clear, with a fresh and pleasantly savory finish.

Recommended pairings tasting this Piedmontese white wine

Perfect to combine with appetizers, seafood risotto, fish dishes with a delicate flavor or white meat. Try it with a plate of fresh goat cheese. Serve at a temperature of 10ºC in a glass not very wide.
