This sensational Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wine of great value and refinement is produced by the most renowned producer of Franciacorta, Barone Pizzini. The vines used in the blend are those of Chardonnay at 70%, Pinot Bianco for 25%, and Pinot Nero for 5%. The area of origin of the vineyards is that of the Franciacorta DOCG in Lombardy. The vineyards are attached to the sub-area of "Roccolo" one of the most famous. The vinification involves soft pressing, fermentation in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks, and subsequently in barrique. The refinement of the wine extends for 6 months in French oak barrels and the following 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

 

Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Riserva Bagnadore DOCG Barone Pizzini’s features

A light and delicate straw colour. The perfume on the nose offers beautiful notes of toast and brewer's yeast, hints of citrus and medicinal herbs. The taste is fresh, deep, elegant, dynamic and of great harmony.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Franciacorta Barone Pizzini

Excellent for the whole meal, with baked fish, white meats, even aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 10 ° C.
