The grape variety used for the production of this sensational wine of the Piedmontese tradition is that of 100% pure Barbera. The origin of the vines falls within the Monforte d'Alba estate. Vinification takes place in steel. Maceration on the skins for about 30 days. Refinement starts immediately after racking, stays in French oak barrels for about 12 months and a small part in barriques.
