Wine description
Produced with Turbiana grapes with an addition of a small percentage of Chardonnay, this Metodo Classico sparkling wine is made following direct pressing of the grapes with fermentation taking place partially in steel. Refinement on the lees for at least 24 months is followed by a further 4 months in the bottle after disgorging.
Characteristics of this Spumante Cà dei Frati
The organoleptic examination shows a fine and persistent perlage and a golden yellow colour. The bouquet offers fragrant notes of bread crust, hazelnut and fresh fruit. Creamy on the palate with a slightly dry finish.
Suggested food pairings with this Metodo Classico
Serve at a temperature of 6-8 °C, perfect with fish starters, grilled fish, white meat or as an aperitif.
