Descrizione del vino

A wine from Tuscany , from the your Rita winery, red, Typical Geographical Indication. The production area is that of the upper Maremma, in the Metalliferous Hills area. The denomination IGT – Typical Geographical Indication – Toscana Rosso. The grapes are 80% Cabernet Sauvignon , for 10% Merlot , 10% Cabernet Franc . The planting density reaches 8,500 vines per hectare of land. The training system is the classic spurred cordon. The soil is distinctly clayey with a medium-high presence of skeleton. In the higher vineyards there is more skeleton, in the lower ones more silt.In the central band, where the Merlot vines are planted, there is more clay. The agronomic management of the vineyards is organic. The harvest takes place by hand, after the vinification we proceed with the refinement of about 18 months in French wooden barriques of first passage and second passage; bottled in the summer it is left to rest in the bottle for a few months before being placed on the market. In its name it bears homage to one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Suvereto, the church of San Giusto, and to the first company vineyard planted in Notri. Produced for the first time in 1992, it is a Cabernet-based wine. Tua Rita's "soul" wine has accompanied the winery since its inception and testifies, in its being, its philosophy: novelty, experimentation, innovation combined with respect for natural rhythms and love for the land of production.20 years of history: the vineyards that grow, the vintages that change, the different techniques find the search for elegance as the only common thread. The most meditated fruit of the company is the harmony of the evolution of the taste of those who produce it, the acquired knowledge of the territory and the maturity of the vineyards from which it comes.

Features of this great Red wine TUA RITA winery

The organoleptic examination shows a bright ruby red, the intense nose of red fruits of blackberries, and cherries, bloody notes and spices, on a balsamic texture. The taste in the mouth has good softness, with vibrant tannins in the integration phase. Toasted finish. Elegant and very persistent.
