This wine is produced with 100% Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated in Lucinico, in the area of Collio near Gorizia. The lands are located between 130 meters above the sea level and their exposition is south, south-east. The soils are characterized by marls and sands of Eocenic origins. 5000 stumps per hectare, trained with cordon spur pruning method. The vines are 40 years old.
Features of this red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia
The organoleptic aspect reveal an intense, clear purple red colour. Its scent recalls red fruits like cherry, strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, followed by vegetal hints and aromatic herbs. The taste is structured, balanced, soft, with soft and elegant tannins. Great final and good persistence.
