Weinbeschreibung
This bottle is sold to screen-printed Box, and Magnum 1.5 liters.
There are used 100% Nebbiolo grapes and the difference with the red Edition is the wine making process. This wine can be aged for 15 months. The Sforzato grapes must rest on wood trellis and thank to this withering process the wine achieves the 14,5% of proof. This process reduces the acidity and it creates aromatic substances that make the wine soft and remarkable.
Characteristics of the Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG black edition
It has a garnet red color. The smell is intense, spicy with balsamic hints together with berries and spices. The taste is bodied and spicy with an intense and persistent palate.
Suggested pairings for this Sfrozato of the PLOZZA winery
This wine is perfect with every srong course. It is perfect also as meditation wine. It must be served at 18°C.
