Wine description

From 100% Chardonnay pure vinification, the Maison Comte de Montaigne produces this sensational Blanc de Blancs Grand Reserve, which expresses all the Champagne tradition. The vinification involves the use of the method based on operating a double fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature and with the second fermentation in the bottle. Aging on the yeasts is more than three times that allowed by the 15-month disciplinary, this is to give the wines greater complexity. Aging ranges from 3 to 4 years. The finesse of the perlage of our Cuvées is given by this long aging, by a noble raw material and by a perfectly controlled, fresh and constant cellar temperature.

 

Characteristics of this Champagne 

The organoleptic test shows a light golden yellow color with a lively perlage rich in fine and persistent bubbles. The scent is intensely fruity. The aromas at the first hint are citrus fruits, exotic fruit and white flowers. In contact with the air, the buttery scents are enhanced. The taste is a refined subtle balance between roundness and softness. Of great power, very mineral and elegant.

This Champagne reveals a sensation of great finesse, captured in all its freshness, confirming the olfactory impression. Very long in the mouth and mineral. The optimal serving temperature is 10 ° C in a tall and tapered glass.
